Susan Gets on Her Bike with Freddie
Cycling is a passion for Susan Hall. During 2011 she has led four rides from London to Paris and the Uk’s Coast to Coast, raising thousands in the process, and in 2012 she faces her toughest challenge!
Susan will be joining England rugby international Lawrence Dallaglio and England cricketing legend Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff on an epic cycle ride across the Alps, climbing nearly 16,000 feet and 302 miles in four days!
The object of the exercise is to raise money for projects supported by the two superstars. The Dallaglio Foundation, supporting the Cancer Research UK project on prostate cancer genetics, and the AF Foundation, set up by Andrew and Rachael Flintoff, a children’s charity raising funds to build, develop and improve Child Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy Units throughout the UK.
‘I’ve committed to raising £3,000 for these fabulous causes, and we will be holding several fundfaising events over the coming months,’ explained Susan. ‘The ride is going to be really hard work, but its all going to be worth it, and of course cycling with Freddie Flintoff is a real bonus!’
