Fearful of Frizz?

Many clients that I speak to have one worry in common: frizzy hair. With Spring on its way, it's time for some advice to help keep those split ends away.

Hair that is naturally curly or frizzy usually lacks moisture that is why it is important to use a good moisturising shampoo and conditioner.

Nearly all of us suffer with dry brittle or frizzy hair because our hair is deficient of moisture. For hair to be in tiptop condition it has to have sufficient moisture and the right balance of protein and natural oil. Most of us produce enough natural oil (sebum), to keep our hair healthy, but lack the moisture.

You need to give your hair lots of TLC, with shampoos that are designed to restore your hair's moisture level back to its best. Why not try an extra intense conditioner? These products help to repair damaged cuticles, improve porosity, elasticity and general health and appearance of your hair.

Those of you with naturally curly, wavy or frizzy hair, those who use hot styling tools or who chemically treat your hair, will need to give your hair extra nurturing by supplying your hair with the necessary nutrition and moisture that it needs.

Chemical treatments (i.e., perms, hair dyes or bleaches) will deplete the hair of moisture. Bringing the hair moisture level down to critical levels!

So, take care of your hair with some good quality, moisturising products and keep the split ends at bay!

Feel free to pop into the salon to have a chat with one of our stylists for some friendly, impartial advice.
